What is Electrolysis?

Electrology is a method of permanent hair removal. It works by using a tiny probe that gently targets each hair follicle with a small electric current. This process destroys the hair root, preventing it from growing back.

Why Choose Electrolysis?

Permanent Results:

Unlike shaving or waxing, electrology offers a lasting solution. Once the hair follicle is treated, it won’t produce hair again.

Safe for All Skin Types:

Electrology is effective on all skin types and hair colors. Whether you have light, dark, coarse, or fine hair, this method works for everyone.

Precise Treatment:

We target individual hair follicles, ensuring that even the most stubborn hairs are removed.

No Harsh Chemicals:

Electrology is a natural process that doesn’t involve any harsh chemicals or creams.

FDA-approved:

Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal.

The FDA recognizes it as a safe and effective way to permanently eliminate unwanted hair by destroying the hair follicle with an electrical current. Other methods, like laser hair removal, are FDA-approved for long-term hair reduction but not specifically for permanent removal.

Why Electrolysis Isn’t as Painful as You Think:

Many people considering electrolysis worry about pain, but modern techniques and methods have made electrolysis a far more comfortable experience than you might expect. While each person’s pain tolerance is different, many find the procedure to be quite manageable or even painless.

Our Services

We offer a range of electrolysis services tailored to your needs:

  • Face and Eyebrows: Get rid of unwanted facial hair and achieve perfectly shaped eyebrows.
  • Underarms and Bikini Line: Enjoy smooth skin in sensitive areas without the hassle of regular shaving.
  • Full Body Treatments: From legs to back, we can treat any area where you want to be hair-free.
  • Transgender Electrolysis: Transgender electrolysis services provide permanent hair removal tailored to gender-affirming needs, commonly for facial, body, or pre-surgical areas. By destroying hair follicles with electric currents, electrolysis offers a permanent solution to reduce dysphoria and enhance confidence. Transgender clients find it difficult to deal with facial hair removal on a daily basis. A great number of my customers find that they feel more confident, attractive and comfortable when unwanted hair is removed.
Preparing for Your Electrolysis Treatment: What You Need to Know
Before Your Treatment: Important Steps
  • Avoid Hair Removal Methods:  No Waxing, Plucking, or Tweezing. Stop using these hair removal methods at least 2-3 weeks before your appointment. Electrolysis targets the hair follicle, so the hair needs to be present in the follicle for the treatment to work.
  • Shaving is Okay: You can shave the treatment area, but do so at least 4-5 days before your appointment to allow some hair to be visible.
  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session. Hydrated skin responds better to treatment and can help make the process more comfortable.
  • Avoid Caffeine and Stimulants: On the day of your treatment, try to avoid caffeine or any stimulants, as they can make your skin more sensitive and increase discomfort during the session.
  • Protect Your Skin from the Sun: Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning before your treatment. Sunburned or tanned skin is more sensitive and can react more strongly to electrolysis.
  • Moisturize Regularly: Keep your skin well-moisturized in the days before your appointment. This helps create an optimal environment for the treatment, making it easier for the electrologist to treat the hair.
  • Skip Makeup and Harsh Products: On the day of your treatment, avoid applying makeup, lotions, or any harsh skincare products to the area being treated. Clean skin is best for electrolysis.

After Your Electrolysis Treatment: What to Expect and How to Care for Your Skin

To ensure the best results and keep your skin healthy, here’s what you need to know about caring for your skin after treatment.

What to Expect After Treatment

  • Redness and Swelling: It’s normal to experience some redness and slight swelling in the treated area. This usually fades within a few hours.
  • Sensitivity: Your skin might feel sensitive or slightly tender for a day or two. This is a normal part of the healing process.
  • Avoid Heat and Sweat: Stay away from saunas, hot tubs, or heavy exercise that can cause sweating and increase irritation. Heat can exacerbate inflammation.
  • Avoid Touching or Scratching: The skin may feel tender or slightly itchy, but avoid touching or scratching the area to prevent irritation or infection.

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION POLICY
